Has it really been 10 days since my last post?  Well, yes, I know that since I can see the date on each one but the last 10 days just seem to have flown.  Works been crazy at the moment and due to a couple of other distractions, football tournaments, ballet show prep and other stuff I’ve not had a lot of chance to write anything for a while, novel or otherwise.

Do you need to have a twist in a book (or several for that matter), what I’ll call the ‘Boo!’ moment?

I was talking to ‘S’ a couple of weeks ago, she’s the only person in the office who knows I write and has a copy of the books.  She’s read the first one (which she enjoyed) and she’s just finished the second.  We were discussing what she thought and I asked her about a particular event.  Good she said, but she saw it coming. In The Skyline, Skyline…..

Well, after the great finger sawing episode, which eliminated any reasonable writing for a while, I’m back at the keyboard.  In fairness the finger was usable on Saturday and I took the bandage off and it had healed pretty well.  Unfortunately for me (well, my writing not me) we went to Butlins in Skegness on Friday for a long weekend break and even though I took my laptop with me, fully intending to do some writing when the kids were in bed of an evening, things didn’t go exactly to plan.
